Why Early Access?“When we launched “Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!!” we got a ton of feedback from the community that resulted in a ton of new additions to the game post-launch.
For “Cook, Serve, Delicious! Reviews“Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 Is A Crazy Delight.absolutely worth it right now even in its current early access form. There's just over 20 hours of content right now, and I've played about 12 hours of the game across two profiles, most of it in co-op with my partner (using Steam Link's streaming, which worked real well).”“I didn’t think an early build of Cook Serve Delicious! Would be sophisticated enough to pull me away from its predecessor, but the team’s visible commitment to improving on the series’ formula is too delectable to ignore.”“A relentless and strategic kitchen management game, Cook, Serve, Delicious! Rewards hard effort with moments of transcendental clarity, when plates start flowing and everything is slotting into place. It is meditation.
I have never felt a greater sense of peace and purpose than when rolling six burritos in less than five seconds. Prescribe it to people who have lost their way.”. About This GameHit the road in this massive sequel to the million-selling Cook, Serve, Delicious!
Cook, Serve, Delicious 2 is a fast-paced restaurant simulator where you serve customers tons of food as quickly as possible. Cook Serve Delicious 3 is currently in Early Access so new options, features, and modes will continue to arrive in the game in regular updates. At the time of writing this Early Access review, the update 0.5 arrived for the title and it brought with it a brand new Territory for us to roam and serve our delicious meals.
Never play this game on an empty stomach. That’s lesson number one when you pick up. If you haven’t eaten, it’ll make you want to. And even if you have eaten, it’ll make you wish you’d had something as delicious-looking as the food featured in the game. Now on its third instalment, developer Vertigo Gaming Inc. Is at it again with a brand new cooking adventure that improves upon what was already great about the game.Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 has just released into early access, and in its current state, the game’s campaign is about half finished. It’s also missing modes and levels that’ll appear in the finished version.
With an estimated four to six months away from completion, the game’s early access release gives a good enough look at what players can expect from the final game. If you’ve played a previous Cook, Serve, Delicious title, you’ll already know what to expect in terms of gameplay. This time around though, Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 players are in charge of a food truck due to the unexpected destruction of the previous Cook, Serve, Delicious restaurant. Friendly robots Whisk and Cleaver pull you out of the rubble of your restaurant and convince you to join them on the road to participate in Iron Cook Foodtruck Championships. (This is a totally normal occurrence for the year 2042 when the game is based, by the way.) Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 will be the first time the series has given players a full-on story driven campaign for the game – and so far, it’s an absolute blast to play. The general gameplay concepts are the same: customers will approach the food truck and ask for food that needs to be prepared in a timely manner.
The truck includes prep stations where players can prepare a food ahead of time so that they can process customer orders much faster. There are also moments when the food truck is in transit where you’ll be able to process future orders and serve them immediately when arriving at the next stop.Things are still incredibly hectic as you’d expect – but having the food stations, plus the ability to get a few orders going while travelling, makes the gameplay just as fun as the previous two titles in the series.Promised in the final release of Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 are food truck upgrades, even more foods to choose from and different ways to play the game exactly how you like it. You can play in local co-op and share your chef glory with a friend and, if the game is a little too difficult, you can put it on the “chill” difficulty at any time, which is great for brand new players.Being a completely unbiased party who definitely hasn’t played over 200 combined hours of the first and second game (that’s a lie), Cook, Serve, Delicious 3 is shaping up to be something really and truly special. Not only have the gameplay mechanics improved but the sheer number of foods that will pass through the kitchen is an achievement – not to mention the addition of a new story, improved art style, voice acting and more.
It’s already a hell of a lot of fun, and it’s not even finished.for just £11.39/$14.99 – and you really, really should. Developer Vertigo Gaming is aiming for a full release this summer.
